1. Who We Are
MyBrainBubble is a wellbeing, reflection, and organisation app designed to help users:
- organise thoughts
- track habits
- plan daily life
- reflect using structured tools
For the purposes of UK data protection law, MyBrainBubble acts as the data controller.

2. Who Can Use the App
MyBrainBubble is rated suitable for users aged 4 and above.
If you are under 18, or the age of majority in your country, you should use the App with guidance from a parent or legal guardian where appropriate.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children beyond what is necessary to provide the App.
3. What Data We Collect
We collect limited data required to operate the App.
A. Account Information
When you create an account, we may collect:

We do not have access to your password.
B. Content You Create
You may create content such as:

- Brain Fog entries
- Gratitude Bubble entries
- Quote Bubble entries
- planner data

- user-created templates
Local-First Storage
MyBrainBubble is designed as a local-first application.
By default:
- your content may remain stored locally on your device
- some features may work offline using local storage
Optional Cloud Sync
MyBrainBubble may allow users to enable an optional “Sync All Data Across Devices” setting.
When enabled, some user-created app data may also be securely stored using cloud services to allow access across signed-in devices.
This may include:
- journals
- planner data
- habits
- Brain Fog entries
- Gratitude Bubble entries
- Quote Bubble entries
- templates and logs
- Pomodoro activity
- uploaded media references
- themes and preferences
- Home Sphere preferences
When sync is disabled:
- some data may remain stored only on your device
- data may not automatically transfer across devices
We do not manually read, review, or monitor private user-created content.
C. Limited External Data
Some account-related information may be processed externally through trusted providers.
This may include:
- email address
- account identifiers
- sync preferences
- cloud-stored synced app data, if sync is enabled
This is used strictly for:
- authentication
- account management
- optional cloud syncing
- app functionality
Users may sign into multiple devices regardless of subscription tier.
D. Media Content
If you add photos or videos:
- they may remain stored locally on your device
- if sync is enabled, selected media references or related synced content may also sync across your devices
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any uploaded content.
E. Subscription Information
Subscriptions are handled by:
- Apple App Store
- Google Play Store
We may receive:
- subscription status
- billing state
We do not receive or store payment card details.
F. Technical Data
We may collect limited technical data such as:
- device type
- operating system
- app version
- crash logs
This helps us maintain and improve the App.
4. How We Use Your Data
We use limited data only to:
- provide core App functionality

- provide optional cross-device syncing

- no system is completely secure
- data stored on your device is your responsibility

Since most content is stored locally:
- Deleting the App or your device data may permanently remove your content
- We do not recover lost local data
Depending on your sync settings, some data may remain stored locally on your device and some data may sync securely across your signed-in devices. Users remain responsible for maintaining backups of important content.
8. International Transfers
Some limited account data may be processed outside the UK. Where this occurs, appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, are used.
