These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of MyBrainBubble (the "App"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About MyBrainBubble

MyBrainBubble is a wellbeing, reflection, and organisation app designed to help users log, journal, track habits, and reflect on their lives in a flexible and supportive way.

MyBrainBubble:

  • Is not a medical device
  • Does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or medical advice
  • Is not a replacement for professional mental health support

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require urgent support, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or local emergency services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use MyBrainBubble. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Accounts

You may be able to use certain features without creating an account.

If you create an account:

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You agree to provide accurate information
  • You may delete your account at any time through the App or by contacting support

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Your Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of all content you create within MyBrainBubble, including:

  • Journal entries
  • Notes and reflections
  • Photos and videos
  • Logs, reminders, and personal data

Licence to Operate the App

To provide the App's features, you grant MyBrainBubble a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the App.

We do not sell your personal content or use it for advertising.

5. Community Standards & Shared Content

MyBrainBubble is designed to be a safe and reflective space.

If you use any feature that allows you to share content, including journal entries, media, messages, or other materials, you agree that you will not upload, post, or share content that is:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit
  • Sexually exploitative, especially involving minors
  • Obscene or excessively graphic
  • Harassing, threatening, abusive, or bullying
  • Intended to intimidate or shame others
  • Hateful toward individuals or groups based on protected characteristics
  • Violent or promoting self-harm
  • Illegal or encouraging unlawful activity
  • Misleading, fraudulent, or impersonating another person
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights

You are responsible for the content you create or share.

We reserve the right to:

  • Remove content that violates these standards
  • Restrict sharing functionality
  • Suspend or terminate accounts
  • Report illegal content to appropriate authorities where required

We may use automated systems and/or human review to detect violations. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so to protect users and comply with legal obligations.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for unlawful purposes
  • Attempt to access or interfere with other users' data
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or compromise the App
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to bypass security measures

Violation of these Terms may result in suspension or termination.

7. AI, Automation & Reflections

Some features may provide automated responses, reflections, or insights based on your input.

These features:

  • Are automated
  • Are informational and reflective only
  • Should not be relied upon as professional, legal, financial, or medical advice

No automated feature makes decisions that have legal or significant personal effects. You remain responsible for how you interpret and act upon any output.

8. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

Subscription Plans

MyBrainBubble offers optional paid subscriptions, which may include:

  • Light Support Mode (monthly or yearly)
  • Full Support Mode (monthly or yearly)

Subscription features and pricing are displayed within the App before purchase. Prices may vary by region and platform.

All purchases are processed through the relevant app store provider:

  • Apple App Store (iOS devices)
  • Google Play Store (Android devices)

We do not directly process card payments.

Subscription features and pricing displayed within the App form part of the purchase information at the time of transaction.

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal.

You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through:

  • Your Apple ID account settings (iOS), or
  • Your Google Play account settings (Android)

If you cancel, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current paid period.

Free Trials (If Offered)

If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Refund Policy

Annual Subscriptions

Refund requests for annual subscriptions may be considered if requested within 7 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The request complies with applicable consumer protection laws, and
  • The request is submitted through the relevant app store provider

After 7 days, refunds are generally not provided except where required by law.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis.

Due to the nature of digital content supplied immediately after purchase, monthly subscription payments are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required under applicable consumer protection law.

By purchasing a monthly subscription and gaining immediate access to digital features, you acknowledge that you may lose your statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Platform Refunds

All refund requests must be submitted directly to:

  • Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Google: Play Store refund system

We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing.

Any price changes will:

  • Not affect the current billing period
  • Be communicated in advance where required by law
  • Apply at the next renewal date

9. Notifications & Reminders

MyBrainBubble may send notifications or reminders if you enable them.

You are always in control of:

  • Whether notifications are enabled
  • Their frequency and timing

You may disable notifications at any time through the App or your device settings.

10. Data & Privacy

Your privacy matters to us.

Our Privacy Policy explains:

  • What data we collect
  • How it is used
  • Your rights under data protection law

By using MyBrainBubble, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

11. Availability & Changes

We may:

  • Update or modify features
  • Temporarily suspend access for maintenance
  • Modify these Terms from time to time

We are not responsible if the App becomes unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.

12. Termination

You may stop using MyBrainBubble at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • These Terms are violated
  • Required by law
  • Necessary to protect the safety, integrity, or security of the App

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The App is provided "as is" and "as available"
  • We do not guarantee outcomes, improvements, or results
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under applicable law. Use of the App is at your own discretion.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
