These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of MyBrainBubble (the “App”). By accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. About MyBrainBubble

MyBrainBubble is a digital wellbeing, reflection, and organisation tool designed to help users manage thoughts, track habits, record personal logs, and organise daily life through structured templates and journaling tools.

Features may include:

  • journaling tools
  • planner and calendar systems
  • habit tracking
  • personal logging templates
  • structured insights
  • productivity tools such as timers
  • brain fog feature
  • gratitude bubble
  • quote bubble

MyBrainBubble is a self-help and organisational tool only.

The App:

  • is not a medical device
  • does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or treatment
  • does not replace professional mental health or medical services

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require urgent support, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

2. Eligibility

MyBrainBubble is rated suitable for users aged 4 and above.

If you are under 18, or the age of majority in your country, you should use the App with guidance from a parent or legal guardian where appropriate.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account.

If you create an account:

  • You are responsible for your login credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must provide accurate information
  • You may delete your account at any time

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or compromise platform safety.

4. Your Content & Data

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all content you create within MyBrainBubble, including but not limited to:

  • journal entries
  • brain fog entries
  • gratitude entries
  • quote entries
  • planner data
  • habits and logs
  • templates
  • reminders and notes
  • photos and media
  • custom themes and visual settings
  • user-created templates

How Your Data Is Stored

MyBrainBubble is designed as a local-first application.

By default:

  • your content is stored directly on your device
  • your personal data may remain local to your device
  • some features may work offline using local storage

Optional Cloud Sync

MyBrainBubble may allow users to enable an optional “Sync All Data Across Devices” setting.

When enabled, some user-created app data may also be securely stored using cloud services to allow access across devices signed into the same account.

This may include:

  • journal entries
  • brain fog entries
  • gratitude bubble entries
  • quote bubble data
  • planner data
  • habits and logs
  • templates
  • reminders and notes
  • pomodoro activity
  • themes and visual preferences
  • home sphere preferences
  • selected user-added media or references

When sync is disabled:

  • some data may remain stored only on the device where it was created
  • data may not automatically transfer across devices

We do not access, read, or manually monitor your private journal content or personal entries.

Limited Account Data (External Services)

Some account-related information may be processed through third-party services such as authentication and cloud infrastructure providers.

This may include:

  • email address
  • account identifiers
  • sync preferences
  • secure cloud-stored app data when sync is enabled

This information is used strictly for:

  • authentication
  • account management
  • optional cross-device syncing
  • maintaining app functionality

Users may sign into multiple devices regardless of subscription tier.

No Content Monitoring

MyBrainBubble does not manually review or monitor private user-created content stored within the App unless required by law.

Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • maintaining backups of important data
  • managing content stored on your device
  • any data loss resulting from device issues, deletion, or app removal

Sensitive Information

You may choose to enter sensitive personal information into the App.

By doing so, you acknowledge:

  • this data remains stored on your device
  • MyBrainBubble does not access or process this content externally

5. Privacy of Your Content

Your content is private by default.

  • only you can see your content unless you choose to share it
  • you can delete your content at any time
  • deleted content may persist temporarily in backups where legally required

You are responsible for the data you store and share.

6. Acceptable Use

Even though content is private, you agree not to use the App for:

  • illegal activity
  • storing or distributing unlawful material
  • violating intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate accounts where required by law or to protect the integrity of the App.

7. App Features

Planner

The App includes a planner feature that allows users to organise tasks, schedules, and personal plans.

Planner data:

  • is created and stored locally on your device
  • is for organisational purposes only
  • does not guarantee productivity outcomes

Data may be stored locally on your device and, if optional sync is enabled, securely synced across your signed-in devices using cloud services.

Templates

Users may use built-in or custom templates.

Not all templates generate insights or appear in the calendar.

Data may be stored locally on your device and, if optional sync is enabled, securely synced across your signed-in devices using cloud services.

Habit Tracker

Tracks habits and progress.

Results are informational only and not guaranteed outcomes.

Data may be stored locally on your device and, if optional sync is enabled, securely synced across your signed-in devices using cloud services.

Brain Fog Feature

Allows users to record and organise thoughts.

It is:

  • a productivity and reflection tool
  • not a medical or therapeutic service

Data may be stored locally on your device and, if optional sync is enabled, securely synced across your signed-in devices using cloud services.

Gratitude Bubble

Used for recording gratitude and reflections.

It:

  • encourages mindfulness
  • does not guarantee emotional outcomes

Data may be stored locally on your device and, if optional sync is enabled, securely synced across your signed-in devices using cloud services.

Quote Bubble

Allows users to:

  • store personal quotes
  • receive or view inspirational content
  • schedule reminders for quotes

Pomodoro Bubble

A productivity timer tool.

Notifications depend on device settings and are not guaranteed.

8. Insights

Insights are generated from your data within the App.

  • They are processed locally on your device
  • They are based solely on your input
  • They do not constitute professional advice

9. Subscription Plans

MyBrainBubble may offer subscription tiers.

Free Mode

Provides access to core features. Data is not time-limited.

Paid Plans

May include additional features and expanded functionality. We may update plans over time.

10. Payments & Billing

Payments are processed through:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play Store

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your app store account.

Refund Policy

All payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled by the platform through which you made your purchase.

MyBrainBubble does not process refunds directly.

11. Notifications

The App may send reminders and alerts.

You can disable notifications via device settings.

Delivery is not guaranteed.

12. Availability of Service

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

The App may be affected by:

  • maintenance
  • updates
  • outages
  • third-party services

Data loss, while unlikely, can occur.

Users should keep copies of important content.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • The App is provided “as is”
  • We do not guarantee results or outcomes
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages

Nothing excludes liability where prohibited by law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • Terms are violated
  • required by law
  • necessary to protect the platform

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
